In 2018 my life took a dramatic turn. A series of major life events seemed to unfold all at once, pulling the foundation out from under what had once felt certain. At the height of a successful career as a CPA in Florida, I made a conscious, courageous decision: to step away from everything that had once defined me.
What followed was a complete reinvention.
I chose to live more simply, more presently, and far more intentionally. I walked away from a life of structure and expectations to pursue something richer—one built on connection, curiosity, and freedom. Since then, I’ve traveled solo across the globe as an international house and pet sitter, immersing myself in everyday life across different cultures and communities.
This chapter of my life is not about escape—it’s about arrival. I am no longer putting off my dreams for “someday.”
I am now ready to embrace life with arms wide open—just as it is, and just as I am.
